Covid-19 Trip Policy - Please read!

Tom has been going on for years about running a trip like this and after a chance riverside encounter and some intense lockdown planning we’ve teamed up with Katy Hogarth to bring you a new take on Kayak trip weeks: The Classy Creek Week

Arrival Day:

We don't want you to worry that you'll miss your first day of paddling or be too tired to paddle after a long drive up to Scotland so we have a day where you can arrive at any point during the day and when you arrive the kettle will be boiled and cake ready to eat as you chat to your guide, sort out your kit and get settled in.

The Paddling:

This is your normal kayak trip but without the bravado and horror stories. This has been tailored to support female boaters without the need for any hashtags. The idea is to empower you as a boater with the tools you need to be a master of your own destiny without any reliance on others.

The emphasis is on:
Arousal Levels and Control
Reading Water
Decision Making

and allowing these to affect the skills and style you use as we play on rivers around the highlands running workshops and trips.

The week will be run by Tom and Katy with a maximum of four clients between us keeping it low ratio and personal. For us it’s important we get the right group/mix of people that will really benefit and each other as well as themselves. Throughout we will be looking for opportunities to up skill for rolling or hand rolling clinics.

Accommodation and Food:

Everyone will have their own single bed but will be sharing a room with someone else on the trip. Each room has en suite facilities. The cottage has an open plan living room, dining room, kitchen and also a large drying room with washer and drier. As with all our adventures we offer this as self catering, this allows the flexibility to cook communally, individually or head to the pub.
