12 Days Futaleufu River
Day 1 - Arrive in Pucon:
Fly or drive from Santiago to arrive in Pucon, Chile’s adventure capital. Your base for the first few days will be on the famous Palguin River. Outfit and prepare your kayaks ready for the next days kayaking.
Day 2 - Trancura River:
Paddle the Class III Lower and Upper Trancura River today.
Day 3 - Palguin River:
Walk from your cabin to the Palguin River put in. Today is full of spectacular waterfalls and you’ll have plenty of stories to tell over dinner at the cabin tonight.
Day 4 - Fuy River:
This is a beautiful, clear river with a lot of classic whitewater sections. Enjoy some powerful drops with the highlight being a 6 metre waterfall. Camp by the river for the night.
Day 5 - Petrohue River:
Drive to the Petrohue River this morning. River run today surrounded by the stunning Osorno volcano before we catch the night ferry to Futaleufu.
Day 6 - Futaleufu River:
Set up camp on the banks of the bridge to bridge section of the river. With 46 kilometres of whitewater to explore you’ll get started with a short afternoon paddle from the campsite.
Day 7 - Futaleufu River:
Paddle the bridge to Macal section of the river as a great introduction to this mighty river. We’ll spend some time working on your whitewater skills before hitting the bigger sections over the next few days.
Day 8 - Azul River:
Enjoy the lower volume Azul River today with a couple of steeper rapids. The view from this river is always beautiful!
Day 9 - Futaleufu River:
