Over two days, you’ll learn how to assess and manage a wide range of incidents, including injuries, environmental conditions, and medical emergencies where help may be delayed. The course focuses on practical, scenario-based training based on real experiences to ensure you can apply your knowledge in real-world settings.
What you’ll learn:
• Primary survey
• Secondary survey
• Managing trauma, bleeding, and fractures
• Treating burns, hypothermia, and heat-related illnesses
• Handling bites, stings, and allergic reactions
• Asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, epilepsy & strokes
• CPR and use of an AED
• Improvisation techniques using limited resources
• Decision-making and casualty evacuation in remote areas
• Roles, responsibilities & legal considerations
